First step is to create an Album.

Click on ‘Photos’ from the top navigation bar then, click on ‘My Albums’ from the sub navigation. You will then see ‘+ Add an Album’ click on that and give your album a ‘title’ and if you wish a ‘short description.’ click save. You have now created a blank album. You can create further albums or add images to ‘Your Albums’ when you are ready - next -

Upload an Image from your PC.

Click on ‘Photos’ from the top navigation bar then you will see ‘+ Add Photos’ click add photos, a picture of a camera will appear, click on the camera to ‘add a photo’. This will then allow you to browse your PC for the image you wish to add. Choose the image and click open, the name of the image and size will appear in the upload box, click ‘Upload’. Once the image is uploaded it will appear and give you the option to add and change the ‘Title’ and ‘Description’. In the tag box add one word to describe the picture. (helps the search facility) then from the drop down menu choose the Album you have created (at this stage you only have one) click on save. Your image has then been added to your album.

NOTE: Please where possible keep your images you upload to around 700 pixels Landscape or 700 pixels Portrait or smaller. Your image sizes can be altered in most software supplied by your digital camera manufacturer or, in Software programs such as Microsoft Paintshop Pro and Adobe Photoshop. Uploading huge pictures of 1,2 and 3 megabytes only adds to slow viewable images. As a rough guide images from around 56 to 200 Kilobytes approximately is more than adequate.

Moving and Editing Images and Albums.

You can move images, edit photo titles & descriptions. Simply click on the image thumbnail you wish to change, this will give you a larger image of the picture and in the bottom left hand side of the image you will see various actions you can undertake such as edit, delete etc.

The same goes for any Albums you have created, Go to ‘Photos’ in the top navigation chose My Albums from the sub navigation and choose the album you wish to edit click to open the album. Once the album is open, you will see the various actions you can undertake such as edit, delete, slideshow etc.

Various Ways

There are various ways in which to view or edit or add pictures move images between albums etc and I would suggest that you browse and investigate the various options open to you. You will see these options and actions repeat themselves through many aspects of what can be done on the Cameron Interactive Website.
